Lois qualified as a physiotherapist with an honours degree from Oxford Brookes University. She had extensive clinical experience in the UK before relocating to Ireland in 2007. 

In the UK she worked for the National Health Service and has experience in musculoskeletal outpatients, sports injuries, orthopaedics, elderly care, neurological rehabilitation, paediatrics, intellectual difficulties and respiratory care.

On her arrival in Ireland she worked as a senior physiotherapist in the HSE before taking over Newcastle Physiotherapy Clinic in 2008.

Lois is currently enrolled on a Masters degree in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy at University College Dublin (UCD).
 

Lois is fully chartered and is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and its subgroup, the Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (CPPP).
